Lake and volcanoes cottage quick info
Location: On the shores of Lake Ruhondo, near Ntaruka hydro‑electric station, in Burera District, Northern Province, Rwanda. Cottage is ~ 21.7 km from Musanze town.
Accommodation / Layout: A building of ~ 250 m², set within a ~ 1.5-hectare garden/property on the lake shore.
Guest/House Rules: Pets/dogs are not allowed. There are no enforced quiet-hours — guests are free to manage their own schedule.
Check-in / Arrival Notification: Guests should notify arrival time via WhatsApp, SMS or by calling: +250 781 604 225.
Amenities: Rooms include all essentials; indoor lodging is ready. Water-heater and WiFi internet available (i.e. “yes” there’s accessible water heater & WiFi).
Payment: Booking requires a partial deposit up-front; remaining balance is paid on arrival.
Children (under 10): Activities planned. For safety, parents must supervise children so they avoid the lake or climb to the upper village; cottage security also assists in supervision.
